There is an abundance of smooth-edged touches. Strong lines fade into the background leaving way for the curves to take center stage.
Note the design of the side tables, the light fixtures, the smooth edges of the accent chairs, the clock & the rug. The tall greenery is added to conceal the straight lines in the corner.
Naturally if the entire room was rounded, then it could feel off balance. The mixture of lines and widths in the room divider is the equalizer…. and of course, with a pop of color!
